Weber-Morgan Health Department Closes COVID-19 Mass Vaccination Sites

OGDEN, UT – After six months of operating a mass vaccination site at the Dee Events Center, and bi-weekly clinics at a Morgan County church, the Weber-Morgan Health Department is scaling back its COVID-19 vaccination clinics.

“We are so grateful to the people who came early for their vaccinations. Their efforts helped our community recover from this pandemic,” says Brian Cowan, executive director of the Weber-Morgan Health Department. “We’re not done giving vaccines. The supply has caught up with demand, and we are transitioning, along with other providers to offer multiple places where our residents can get a shot.”

Moving forward, to schedule a 1st or 2nd dose of COVID-19 vaccine:

“We received many compliments on our mass vaccination sites,” Cowan said. “We owe a debt of gratitude to Weber State, the many volunteers, community leaders, local first responders, the Utah National Guard and our own staff who made it happen,” Cowan said.
