3rd Dose Now Available For Those Immunocompromised

The good news is that there are more than 40 locations in the Weber-Morgan area now offering the COVID-19 vaccine that can help serve the public when third doses become more widely available. Any pharmacy that offers the COVID-19 vaccine now will have the capability to offer it as third doses are approved. You can find them by typing in your zip code on You should also consult your healthcare provider to see if they have the COVID-19 vaccine, or know of a location they recommend. This is a more normalized scenario for getting the COVID (or any other) vaccine.

Here at the health department, we are offering third doses of COVID-19 vaccine by appointment to those who are immunocompromised as outlined in the article linked below.

We are planning “Third Dose Days” in anticipation of wider approval for third doses. When that happens, many of them will be held periodically in the auditorium of our building, 477 23rd Street, to accommodate more people. Dates and times will be announced on our website and on social media. Again, this is a more normalized scenario for getting the COVID-19 vaccine.

On Aug. 13 the CDC approved third doses for immunocompromised individuals. You can read the qualification here:
